Hotels.com #TempCaptain

Hotels.com is a well known entity in the U.S. but in Canada not so much. They came to us needing a summer activation that engaged consumers in the brand and educated them about their new Rewards Loyalty Program. So we created #TempCaptain, a chance for Canadians to audition to be Captain Obvious so the captain can enjoy a summer vacation. Tons of Canadians advocated for the brand naturally by tagging their friends in the instructional video, submitting their own auditions, and sharing the contest content on their socials. It was a fun campaign that ignited lots of consumer love for the brand and the Captain, so much so they were willing to get naked and sudsy in a bathtub to prove it.
